Speech / Language Issues
Speech and language development go hand-in-hand. However, there can be a delay in one without affecting the other. A child who is lagging in speech development may still have advanced language skills. Similarly, a child with excellent speech skills may have difficulty with certain aspects of language.

There are a number of speech and language disorders that can affect children. These include difficulties with receptive or expressive language, stuttering/stammering, and clarity of voice.
Many speech and language disorders can be corrected with the help of a speech therapist. However, it is important to seek help early on, as these disorders can have a significant impact on a child’s development.
